“In today’s competitive business climate many firms are concerned more with their bottom line than the quality of their work. I believe what is most important is that a firm doesn’t lose sight of the only thing that matters; integrity and winning the trust of the clients they serve. With the right foundation good structure will follow.”

 – Jeremy D. Bartlett, Firm Principal

The Team Behind Thrive

Jeremy Bartlett – Firm Principal

Angie Streckenbach – Associate Principal

David Raschka – Associate Principal

WAUKESHA OFFICE

  • Architecture was always in the plans. Buildings and cities filled Jeremy’s drawing board from an early age, naturally leading him to a career in architecture.
  • Chasing the sunrise—or the snow. On vacation, you might find Jeremy up at sunrise capturing the perfect photo or on his snowmobile making fresh tracks.
  • Hidden talent: Jeremy has double-jointed thumbs—a built-in party trick!

David Raschka – Associate Principal

David Raschka – Associate Principal

WAUKESHA OFFICE

  • He knows his way around a pool table. Dave has competed in pool tournaments across Wisconsin—and is pretty good with a cue.
  • His favorite project? The next one. Dave believes the best project should always be the one still ahead.
  • Creativity, focus + hard work. Whether he’s at the pool table or the drawing board, Dave brings the same combination of creativity, focus, and determination.

APPLETON OFFICE

  • It started with wanting to create cool projects. Today, Angie loves architecture for the problem-solving, puzzles, and unique challenges each new project brings.
  • You won’t find her on the roof. Heights are not Angie’s thing, and she’s successfully avoided ladders and rooftops for most of her career.
  • Her ideal way to unwind? Sitting lakeside in the fresh air with a good book and a glass of wine.

Jeff Stowe – Associate Principal

Ashley Pollex – Project Architect

Angie Streckenbach – Associate Principal

MADISON OFFICE

  • Blame it on Mr. Brady. Growing up in the ’70s, The Brady Bunch’s resident architect, Mike Brady, helped inspire Jeff’s path into architecture.
  • Independent, adaptable + considerate. Three qualities that define Jeff’s approach to both his work and the people he works with.
  • FOMO is real. Jeff admits he has a serious Fear of Missing Out—so chances are, he’s not one to turn down a good opportunity or experience.

WAUKESHA OFFICE

  • An Avid Moviegoer. Ashley loves catching the latest films on the big screen. Whether it’s an indie release or a major blockbuster, she’s always up for a trip to the theater.
  • Sketching + computers made architecture a natural fit. Ashley discovered an early love for both creativity and technology—two interests that ultimately led her to architecture.
  • Thrifting, unique finds + pugs. Outside the office, Ashley loves hunting for one-of-a-kind treasures and spending time at home with her two little pugs.

Erik Semb – Project Manager

Keaton Verstegen – Architectural Associate

Phil Van Zeeland – Project Manager

WAUKESHA OFFICE

  • He enjoys hitting the court. Basketball is one of his favorite ways to stay active and have a little fun.
  • Travel wins over his fear of flying. He may not enjoy getting on a plane, but he won’t let that stop him from exploring new places.
  • Creativity meets organization. He enjoys expressing ideas and watching them come to life, while problem-solving and balancing the many goals and details that make a project successful.

APPLETON OFFICE

  • He’s comfortable wearing many hats. Personally and professionally, Phil enjoys taking on different roles, tackling new challenges, and keeping things interesting.
  • Creative, tenacious + outgoing. Three words that capture Phil’s personality and the energy he brings to his work.
  • His recipe for a perfect day? A day spent fishing, a few cold beers, and an incredible steak to finish it off.

APPLETON OFFICE

  • “Speak softly and carry a big stick.” A favorite quote of Keaton’s—and one that reflects his quietly confident approach.
  • A builder + problem-solver at heart. Keaton enjoys woodworking and fixing computers, whether he’s creating something new or figuring out how something works.
  • Spiders? Absolutely not. Keaton’s biggest phobia has eight legs—and he’d prefer they keep their distance.

Nathan Hirt – Architectural Associate

Jonathan Tews – Architectural Associate

Keaton Verstegen – Architectural Associate

WAUKESHA OFFICE

  • Purple is his color. He finds it calming, unique, and just uncommon enough to make it feel a little more special whenever it shows up.
  • His passion for design started with his grandfather. From helping maintain townhouses to designing and building birdhouses in the workshop, those early hands-on experiences sparked his love for creating and building.

MADISON OFFICE

  • Yellow is her happy color. Warm sunshine, smiley faces, and even her yellow bicycle bring Julie joy—making yellow an easy favorite.
  • Integrity, detailed + kindhearted. Three qualities that reflect Julie’s personality and the thoughtful approach she brings to her work.
  • She loves a good transformation. One of Julie’s favorite projects turned a former gas station into a Starbucks—bringing new life and a whole new look to the existing building.

Edgar Enriquez – Architectural Associate

WAUKESHA OFFICE

  • His biggest inspiration? His dad. Someone who has influenced Edgar.
  • Brown + green are his colors. Their natural, earthy tones remind Edgar of the outdoors.
  • A carpenter at heart. Edgar’s hidden talent is carpentry—and he’s pretty good at it, too!

Deb Bartlett – Accounts Manager

WAUKESHA OFFICE

  • She wears a lot of hats behind the scenes. From accounting and organizing to party planning—and whatever else her husband needs—she helps keep things running smoothly.
  • Before all that, she was a nurse! Her career may have changed, but taking care of people has always been part of who she is.
